Privacy notice
Last updated 22 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information Calvesse collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Calvesse is a trading name of Harvey Westwater, Nicholas Peters and Ronald Butt, 91 Bradbourne Vale Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 3DN. We are responsible for your personal information. For any privacy question, email contact@calvesse.com.
What we collect
- When you fill in our form: your name, business name, website, email address, the type of audit you are interested in, and anything you write in your message.
- When you email us: your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
- When we contact businesses: the name, job title and work contact details of people at local businesses, taken from public sources such as the business's own website.
- When we run an audit: information that is already public about your business, such as your website, Google Business Profile, listings and reviews.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and run the mini audit or full audit you asked for.
- To provide our services if you become a client, including sending reports and invoices.
- To contact local businesses about our services, with an easy way to say no thanks in every message.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, and, where you ask us for a service, the steps needed to enter into and carry out a contract with you.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives form submissions.
- Google Workspace, which we use for email and documents.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for UK data, such as standard contractual terms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for as long as we work together, and up to 6 years afterwards for tax and accounting purposes.
- If you ask us not to contact you, we keep a note of your email address only so that we do not contact you again.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser so the page remembers it. That information never leaves your device.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop or limit how we use it
- stop contacting you about our services, at any time
Email contact@calvesse.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
